Welcome to the MES Guidance Office.
School Counselors are highly trained and support the entire school community (students, staff and parents/guardians). The Elementary School Counselor provides a comprehensive counseling program for all students so that they may acquire competencies in the areas of Academic Development, Career Development, and Social/ Emotional Development.
Classroom counseling lessons are scheduled every other week and cover a variety of topics.

The Counseling Program at Monrovia Elementary School assists each student in attaining his/her maximum potential by providing opportunities for student development. The mission of the Counseling Program of the Madison County Schools is to provide opportunities for all students to acquire competencies in the knowledge of self and others, setting educational goals and career planning through professional certified school counselors.
